JULIAN CONRAD (MSc) - GEOHYDROLOGIST (Director)
While working for the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) for 11 years, Julian completed an MSc in hydrogeology and GIS at the University of Rhode Island in the USA. In March 2001 Julian established GEOSS. Julian is skilled in groundwater exploration, groundwater development, groundwater monitoring and management.


DALE BARROW (MSc, MBA) - GEOHYDROLOGIST (Director)
Dale graduated with a Masters geohydrology degree in 2011 from the Institute for Groundwater Studies, University of the Free State. Dale is responsible for a wide range of groundwater disciplines including geological mapping, borehole siting, geophysical work, drilling and pump testing supervision, hydrocensus work and detailed geohydrological monitoring. Dale has completed projects in numerical groundwater modelling as well.


MEGAN CONRAD (BA) - FINANCIAL & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER (Director)
Megan is responsible for managing the financial and administrative affairs of GEOSS.


HEILIAN BAADJIES (National Certificate (N6) in Public Relations) – FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION
Heilian is responsible for assisting with all Financial aspects at GEOSS, including asset maintenance and management. 


CAMERON BRAND (BSc) - GEOHYDROLOGIST
Cameron has a BSc in Biodiversity and Ecology and a background in project management. Currently his main role is managing almost all the borehole yield and quality testing done by GEOSS' own teams and tests done through various sub-contractors. He also assists in other field work as required such as geophysical surveys, borehole drilling supervision and hydrocensus work. He is able to benefit the company through being able to complete tough days of field work, process and analyse the data obtained from the field and through his practical experience.


MARILIE CARSTENS (Masters in Environmental Management)- GEOSPATIAL SCIENTIST
Marilie is a GIS/Database specialist. She has excellent skills in computer programming, database development and data management. These skills are being applied in the field of geohydrology and associated disciplines.


PATRICK CHIKWITI  (BCom - Hon) - GEOHYDROLOGIST - TECHNICIAN
Patrick is of great value at GEOSS completing a wide array of tasks – including yield testing; sampling; monitoring; assistance with geophysical surveys and data processing and reporting.


CORNÉ ENGELBREGHT BSc (Hon) - GEOHYDROLOGIST
Corné is a geohydrologist with emphasis on hydrogeochemistry and environmental geochemistry. Corné is skilled in groundwater sampling, groundwater chemical data analysis and interpretation. He has a long involvement with Water Use Licence Applications and is the business leader for the License Application business cluster at GEOSS.


HENDRÉ HENN (BSc - Hon) - GIS & DATABASE ANALYST
Hendré has a Honours degree in GeoInformatics, having specialized in the field of forestry at Stellenbosch University. He has experience in various mapping and database software, and currently supports GEOSS by providing mapping and database management services for client reports.


SARAH HEUER (BSc - Hon) - GEOHYDROLOGIST
Sarah has a BSc(Hons) from the University of Pretoria; passing nearly every subject with distinction.  She thrives on field work, is bilingual and extremely hard working. Currently her main role is completing hydrocensus work; groundwater sampling; reading borehole data loggers; borehole drilling and yield testing supervision and particularly Water Use Licence Applications.  She is part of the WULA business cluster and has completed and busy with numerous applications.


MICHAEL HOLLOWAY (BSc) - GEOHYDROLOGIST
Michael has a BSc in Geology and is gaining practical experience before studying further. Michael is exceptionally hard work, reliable and organised – also a true gentleman in all aspects of his life.  He spends very long days in the field and is mainly responsible for the extensive monitoring and sampling projects GEOSS has. This includes both the agricultural and mining sector.  Michael is also very competent in data processing and reporting.


MANUEL JANEIRO - GEOHYDROLOGIST - TECHNICIAN
Currently his main role is conducting borehole yield tests and is responsible for the yield test rig and vehicle. Manuel is an excellent driver and also polite, punctual, strong and copes well with the arduous task of yield testing. 


NUNENS MATANDABUZO - GEOHYDROLOGIST - TECHNICIAN
Currently his main role is conducting borehole yield tests. He is polite, punctual, strong and copes well with the arduous task of yield testing. 


ALISON MCDULING - OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR & STAFF SUPPORT
Alison is responsible for office administration and staff support. Alison is a highly skilled and extremely efficient office administrator and is valued for her organisational skills and staff support.


DANIÉL MULDER (BSc - Hon) - GEOHYDROLOGIST
Daniel is physically very strong and is thus well suited for field work. Currently his main role is completing groundwater exploration work and following through with drilling and yield testing management and data analysis and reporting.  He is fully bilingual and has an outstanding success rate in groundwater exploration in the Cape Town area; Koue Bokkeveld and Karoo.


CHARL MULLER (BSc - Hon) | MEng) - GEOHYDROLOGIST
Charl has a MEng in Geotechnical Engineering. His numerical abilities are of great benefit and he is currently mainly involved in groundwater exploration and aquifer characterisation, with special emphasis on Municipal supply.  He is fully bilingual and copes well with both field work and data processing / reporting.


KES MURRAY (BSc - Hon) - GEOHYDROLOGIST
Kes has a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Geochemistry with an emphasis on Hydrogeology. He is bilingual and has experience in field work concerned with groundwater sampling, on site groundwater measurements, reading of dataloggers and groundwater exploration using geophysical surveys. Most of his work concerns groundwater exploration, followed by drilling and yield testing management, data analysis and reporting. He is also involved in hydrochemical data analysis and monitoring.


PREANNA NAICKER (BSc - Hon) – GEOHYDROLOGIST.
Preanna has an Honours degree in Environmental and Engineering Geology. She has experience in a variety of fields such as hydrogeology, geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, environmental management, rock engineering, etc. Her Honours thesis - titled "The study of the effectiveness of rehabilitation of abandoned Dundee-Newcastle coal mines on groundwater and surface water quality", assessed the overall success of remediation. Methods included on-site field sampling, laboratory analysis, data interpretation software, bi-variate and multivariate statistics. Preanna is part of the WULA business cluster at GEOSS.


NEVILLE PAXTON (MSc) - GEOHYDROLOGIST
Neville completed an Environmental and Engineering Geology honours degree at the University of Pretoria, followed by a MSc Geohydrology at the University of the Freestate. He is currently involved with the full spectrum of groundwater development, from exploration phase to wellfield management. He is also the Contamination and Groundwater Impact Assessment cluster leader for GEOSS. Neville has a passion for the agricultural sector and enjoys working in the field.


CAMILLE OLIANTI (MSc) - GEOHYDROLOGIST
Camille is a geohydrologist with an MSc in Geology and Geochemistry from UCT. Her expertise in geohydrology is rapidly growing – in all aspects of the subject. She is currently assisting with the Municipal Wellfield Supply (all aspects).


CHARLES PEEK (BSc - Hon) - GEOHYDROLOGIST & GIS SPECIALIST
Charles is a geohydrologist with a good understanding of geology and a particular skill for groundwater exploration. He has good experience in geological mapping, geophysical techniques, hydrocensus work and groundwater sampling. In addition Charles also has advanced skills in Geoinformatics and has assisted with Validation and Verification projects, especially in the compilation of the spatial data sets.


LIZANNE SMIT (BSc – Hon) - GEOHYDROLOGIST
Lizanne has a background in geology and obtained her BSc-Hon in Economic Geology at Stellenbosch University. Currently she is busy with her MSc in Hydrology through North-West University. She has experience in hydrocensus work, GIS mapping, drilling supervision and is currently working with Water Use Licence Applications, completing both the geohydrological reports as well as the Section 27 component. As part of the WULA business cluster she has completed and is busy with numerous applications.


FELICITY SPIES (CIMA) – FINANCIAL ASSISTANT.
Felicity obtained a CIMA Certificate in Management Accounting in 2005. She has extensive working experience in London (Business Analyst - Henderson Global Investors / Senior Associate Consultant, Bain & Company ) and Johannesburg (Executive Strategy Assistant & Project Manager, Edcon / Managing Director - EGALITY). Felicity is now assisting GEOSS with financial administration.


LOUISE SOLTAU (MSc) - HYDROGEOPHYSICIST
Louise graduated with an MSc from University of Missouri-Rolla (USA) in 2000. Her strengths lie in all aspects of geophysical work, with specialisation in the field of geophysics and groundwater exploration. She has a wide range of geohydrological skills with regard to contaminant hydrogeology as well.


MINKE VAN ZYL (BA - Hon) – PROJECT PLANNER AND MANAGER
Minke van Zyl has a BA (Hon) and a background in project management. Currently her main role is completing GEOSS quotations for clients and scheduling work project plans and equipment. She is of great benefit to the company providing quotations swiftly and ensuring projects are delivered on brief; on budget and on time.


RONELLE WARD (BCom) – FINANCIAL ASSISTANT
Ronelle is responsible for managing the financial and administrative affairs of GEOSS.
