• Municipal scale development, management and monitoring of groundwater resources
• National scale assessment of groundwater recharge, groundwater use and groundwater classification, as part of the DWAF project, Groundwater Resources Assessment Phase II
• Regional scale assessment of Resource Directed Measures (RDM) as required by the National Water Act, 1998
• Development and testing of guidelines on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM)
• National scale development of groundwater vulnerability maps
• Determination of suitable methods for the mapping of groundwater dependent ecosystems
• Development of geodatabases, GIS and remote sensing for a range of projects
• GIS support for a Comprehensive Environmental Plan at the Zambian Copperbelt
• Development of a decision support system to assist in the allocation of groundwater licenses by DWAF
• Assessing the potential impact of petroleum pollution on groundwater
• Numerous groundwater supply projects at differing scales
• Mapping projects for assessing land use zonations
• Assessing the impact of landfills on groundwater
• Assessing the impact of mining on groundwater
